The same year I decided I wanted to be a writer, I also proclaimed I would be a nun who smoked. Since first grade, I’ve learned only Catholics are nuns and have yet to smoke a cigarette. So, yeah, I became a writer. Heck — I even wrote this!

Aside from this fabulous website, I’ve also written magazine articles about Korea, reading tests, and autoclaves — not all for the same publication, of course — among others. Clients include Parenting, delight!, and Islands. And as a creative writer, my work has appeared on advertorials, product packaging, and websites.

When I’m not writing, I like to travel, take pictures (sometimes doing both of those at the same time), play basketball, cheer on my alma mater (Go Mizzou!), run, and play trivia games.
